A multi-hip villa roof, with rotten purlins replaced
A multi-hip villa roof with several valleys and tricky junctions, reroofed around two existing VELUX skylights, with rotten purlins replaced and extra timber supports added.
A full roof replacement on a villa in Mount Eden. The old corrugate roof came off and was replaced with new corrugate.
The new roof is 0.55 BMT COLORSTEEL® Endura® corrugate in Grey Friars, with COLORSTEEL® 125 OG spouting in Grey Friars and Marley white PVC downpipes.
The roof has multiple hips, angles and valleys, with some complicated junctions. The two existing VELUX skylights were still in good condition, so we kept them and roofed around them.
As you'd expect on a villa, we found some rotten purlins once the old roof was off. We replaced them and added extra timber supports, which villas like this usually need.
