A roof and spouting replacement coordinated with a new solar installation, with the roof checked for watertightness once the panels were on.
The homeowner first contacted us a few years earlier to fix a leak. We repaired it, and advised her that the roof should be replaced in the near future.
A couple of years later, she asked us to price a new roof and spouting. She was also having solar panels installed, so we coordinated our work with the solar company.
The new roof is 0.55 BMT COLORCOTE® ZinaCore corrugate in Slate. The spouting is COLORSTEEL® quarter round in Slate on internal brackets, with Marley white PVC downpipes.
When we started, we found a large wasp nest throughout the ceiling space, so we brought in a pest control company to remove it.
Once the solar panels were installed, we inspected the roof to make sure everything was watertight.
